ELASTIC BANDAGES

Product description:

Universal elastic bandages are very stretchable and can be used both in medical field (by hospitals, clinics) and by the individual patients. Due to the high cotton content, the bandages are safe for the skin and are very well tolerated by people prone to allergies. Admixture of synthetic fibers makes the bandage more flexible. The bandage is perfectly breathable, strong but soft, neatly finished and has a lint-free edge. Each bandage comes with a clip that makes it easier to attach the dressing.

The elastic bandage is a reusable product. It can be washed up to 40°C and should be dried loosely.

Due to the fact that it is a non-sterile product, it should not be used directly on wounds or grazes. It is always necessary to cover the wound with a sterile dressing.

Indications:

• as a bandage for fastening large dressings on limbs, head or trunk, especially in  areas where a non-elastic bandage could slide off
• in compression therapy supporting venous circulation, in acute and chronic congestive edema, leg ulcers and thrombophlebitis, therapeutically and after surgery of varicose veins of the lower extremities
• as a stiffening bandage to immobilize joints or other parts of body, after injuries, twists and damages of osteoarticular system
• after surgical procedures to protect and strengthen skin integuments
• as a sport bandage
