STERILE GAUZE

Sterile gauze is used as direct wound dressing, as mechanical barrier for compressing or exudates absorbing. It can be also used as invasive surgical device for a short-term use.

Sterile gauze is made of natural, purified plant fibers (100% cotton). The product is characterized by good absorption and no smell. The gauze is bleached with hydrogen peroxide, without the use of chlorine. Sterilized with ethylene oxide (EO). It is a single-use medical device.

Indications:

• direct dressing of wounds
• absorption of exudates, also during surgery
• as a mechanical barrier
